ON THE ROAD AGAIN!

Sunday night November 23rd, I flew to Phoenix in 1 hour and 15 minutes. After about 4 hours of work, I was back in Sacramento the next day with another short flight. 4 days later, Kathy and I took off in the motorhome and the 1 hour and fifteen minute flight took 13 hours to drive, but we were in the land of the sun!

Actually, we intended to encompass the work with the same trip, but was needed down there before Thanksgiving so did not work out that way. We headed towards Oak Creek Canyon on Saturday, made it to Motezuma's Castle and the driver's window broke in the down position. Since we were in the mountains, decided it prudent to head back to Phoenix and repair. Luckily, the first dealer we went to had the part and had it repaired with daylight to spare.

On Sunday we took off to Tombstone and spent the day exploring a little wild west history. Also stopped at the Pima Air Museum in Tucson and drooled over their airplanes. Took our time coming back and stayed in Needles Monday night. Still am impressed with the Banks system and averaged 9 MPG on the last tank of gas towing the Jeep no less!
