HAVE YOU SEEN THE McCOOMBS?

Mystery solved! It looks like they got a jump on warm weather and hit San Diego, California this month! Now we know why Kathy's first-ever email to Kathleen has gone unanswered..........

BEFORE YOU DIG

Otherwise, you could cut through a cable I suppose? Well Darrell, Aaron and I found a pesky cable while digging this trench for a new culvert and yanked that baby out of the way!

PLEASE CALL!

Jokingly, Darrell held up the cable for Kathy to see and yelled "Is this important?" Oops, it really was the cable and luckily Jim who trained in the Army for this, rescued us hapless fools!

LATE NITE REVELERS

Candi, Ryan and Melissa sitting at the bar this Saturday the 24th playing liars dice! Not sure if they were just drinking lemonade by the looks of this picture either. See what happens when your back is turned?! Click on the picture for additional shots!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MELISSA AND SEAN!

Melissa and Sean Brown who share the same birthday celebrated together at Hometown Buffet! I guess it was Sean's request and we all know how Melissa likes to eat so place was apropriate! Their birthday was March 14th, but with the move and all, just got the pictures from mom yesterday! Click on the picture for additional shots!

THE MURPHY SISTERS VISIT!

Mom and Aunt Jan, after spending the weekend at the Lake, drove up to the "Waco Mansion" today with their "mutts". Aparently Tiva pulled herself away from her family and spent the night at the Lake home also! Not to many people like driving out here on the dirt roads and I am sure the sisters concur! Had a nice visit and of course Mom left food and Aunt Jan left gifts. Love ya both! Click on the picture for additional pictures!

What words are needed to explain the look on Matt's face?? Could it be the new ride he's standing next to? Do ya think? After a year surviving the driving abilities of a teenager, (try two wrecks in two days!) the Jeep finally died last week and Matt got himself some new wheels. '96 Jetta. Nice.

A TERRORIST ??

It looks like even in Palomino Valley we have to watch out for terrorist's! Luckily I had the ol' camera ready and caught this one in the act. Vicious looking isn't she? Ann and the kids were up for Easter week and the kids were going to stay with me while Ann and Kathy went back to work. Had a little plumbing disaster though and they went back with mom and will return Thursday after we can shower again! Click on the picture for additional pictures!

STARTING TO LOOK LIKE HOME!
No where near done yet, but at least we can live in the place now! Most of the kitchen and front room is done. Master bath awaits new vanity and sink, upstairs guest bath is to be completely remodeled still. Office is done! Basement is still a little rough. Carpet is down, bar is in and I guess that is the most important! Kathy, Ann and the nieces and nephews are looking at barns today. My outside work has yet to begin. Going to remodel the garage to match the house, adding a motorhome garage while doing so. Lots of new concrete also! Please click on the picture above for some of the before and after shots we have so far!
