CURRENT MONTH

POLARIS RULES!

(May 18, 2008) After working around the homestead the last week, Kathy and I took a day off out on the quad. Usually we have the mountains to ourselves, but we came across quite a few others and on our return leg home, a father and son on two dirt bikes, one with a cracked case. Luckily for them that we came along as they would have been in for a long night getting out of there. We came back with our truck and hauled the broken bike to their home in Spanish springs. (May 16, 2008) Congratulations from us out on the West coast to cousin Kathleen's graduation with a Masters in Art! Here are Kathleen's own words: "Well, I finally made it!! So much for my Jack of All Trades/Master of None title. I can now proudly claim to be a Master in the Art of Teaching. Thanks to Gary, Kayla and Ben for putting up with me while I went to school, spent time away from home & family, and stressed out about things! Look out classrooms of America -- here I come!" SIDE TRIP TO VEGAS!

(May 1, 2008) Well we're in Vegas and this time on the North end of the strip. Went to the top of the Stratosphere yesterday without a camera! Today, we brought the camera though and took a trip with cousins Alan and Donna to the Valley of Fire. Awesome and weird looking mountains on the NE side of Lake Mead. Click on photo for more.

(April 27, 2008) Purity brought mom Jenna down for the weekend at the Brown's where we have been staying the past week because of an injured horse. I don't think she liked the idea at first of climbing aboard Hot Rod, but once up there, well just look at that smile! Click on photo for more.
