MR. LAS VEGAS!

(November 20, 2008) Maybe we're showing our age, but we went to Wayne Newton's show last night and really enjoyed ourselves! He puts on a great show and involves all the audience. we actually had first row tables that sat right at the edge of the stage. A very surreal experience, as you seemed to be part of the show seeing the perspiration, expressions, etc. of all on the stage. We even went to Wayne's house yesterday. Okay, we drove by it like thousands do everyday here in Vegas! Click on the photos for more pictures.

NEWS FROM THE "AUSTRIAN" McCOOMBS!

(November 1, 2008)

Here is what Kathleen had to say............. Greetings! Here are some recent photos. Bob Hope arrived the other night, so there are some of him in there too! There are never many pictures of me 'cuz I'm the photographer! Bob Hope is with the owner of the restaurant "Listaurant" we were at (Maja pronounced My-a) in one of those pictures. The one of me with the kids (and one with Gary & the kids) is from the Kunsthistorisches Museum (Art History Museum) which is so unbelievably gorgeous it's crazy!! It's one of best museums in all of Europe and the architecture itself makes it worth going to. The art that they display ain't too shabby either!! The photos don't do it justice, but we tried to get a shot or two of the stuccos and murals and statues and marble and everything that makes it so lush and lavish looking. There are sopme from the Natural Hostory Museum last weekend, too. I'll go through some of the other photos later and send some more your way. Let me make sure this works first, though, okay? Hope all is well. Take care, have fun and be good! XO Kath P.S. The ones from Schladming, Austria were when we visited our friends Jake & Mary and their daughter Claire. We met them last year in Schliersee Germany and kept in touch with them. They're from Scotland and met us a couple of weeks ago while they were on vacation. The weather was great and the kids and Dads went Go-carting down the mountain roads! . Click on the photo for more pictures.
