MT. WHITNEY AND DEATH VALLEY!

(October 14, 2008) More pictures added 10-16-08! Since we used all that fuel getting down to Morro Bay, decided to take the long way home via Death Valley. This is 4 wheel drive country and we have more than tested our Jeep! Today we are off on another wheel'in adventure into Echo Canyon. Click on the photo for more pictures.

MORRO BAY!

(October 9, 2008) Cousins Paul and Ginny Chissus have been camp hosts at Morro Bay State Park since May and before they move on to Arizona in a couple of weeks, Kathy and I went down for a visit. They were wonderful hosts and showed us some of the sites that most visitors do not see. It has been about 14 years since Kathy and I were here last. Click on the photo for more pictures.

ZEPHER COVE!

(October 1, 2008) Enjoying the last days of warm weather, the Browns and Ashley's hit the beach at Zepher Cove on Lake Tahoe last weekend. The weather was perfect and between the beach and the booze, we had a great time! Click on the photo for more pictures.

HORROR AT HOME!

(October 1, 2008) We have seen big spiders around here before, but this trantula takes the cake as far as size and scare factor! At least 3 feet wide. Okay, inches. Click on photo for a video.
