UNCLE DON NOT DOING WELL
	Sorry to say that Uncle Don's not doing to well fighting his battle with cancer. It was a little over a year ago that he found out that cancer has spread into his back. Chemotherapy seemed to only make things worse and I am afraid that it is an uphill battle from here on in. It is amazing how fast the big "C" can take a hold of a person. It was just three weeks ago that Kathy and I were at Uncle Don's and Aunt Jan's cabin in	Tahoe. Uncle was tired easily, but still able to function for himself. Last weekend it was pretty much stuck in the bed, but he still had all his senses. This weekend he is completely helpless. Mom, Sina and Larry Ryan have been staying over and helping Aunt Jan care for Uncle. I am sure he is happy to have so much family around. Our thoughts and prayers are with you Uncle Don.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MOM!
On a lighter note, Mom's birthday is July 6th and she is getting younger every year. We are making it a point to celebrate her birthday with Uncle Don as she is his favorite sister-in-law! Of course I can't tell you how old she'll be, but if I tell you she was born in 1931 does that count?		In case you didn't know, this is a picture of mom and her mutt, Jetta. Okay, not a mutt, how about her little princess?
