FROM SNOW TO DESERT!

(April 12, 2010) Even though we're in the low desert of Panamint Valley, the weather here was not great until our 3rd day when we moved to Stovepipe Wells in Death Valley. Even then, temperatures only reached the low 80's instead of the 90's we expected. Got some new canyons and mining camps under our belt. Soon we can be full fledged guides here! (April 9, 2010) Kathy are in California City on our way to Death Valley after 3 days in Yosemite. Lot of snow on the ground on the first day there, but most had melted the day we left. Most of the trails were closed due to snow so spent our time on the valley floor. Click on photo for more pics! |
