So was at Mom's to take her driving when Kathy called to let me know that Scot needed my help pulling up the well pump and could I head home now. I did and just as I got there Scot looked like he had been in a fight for his life. He had just pulled up 150 feet of pipe, water and well pump all by himself! Couldn't wait. He had already went to Auburn and got the 2 capicators that he thought were the problem, returned and exchanged them for 2 more of the right voltage and still no water. So he took the motor in to get it tested or get a new one. Motor worked fine so he decided to get a whole new power box to replace the old one. As he was paying for it, he noticed a reset button. Yup, when he got home he saw a reset button on the old power box and when he pushed it, "click". That was probably the problem the whole time but since something had tripped it, we went ahead and replaced the power box, spliced the wiring and retaped the wire to the pipe before lowering back in the well. It worked after that!
