(October 30th, 2022) After going to the eye Doctor on Friday the 14th, Kathy began to feel a little crummy. By the next morning she was having trouble swallowing and had an earache so we went to Urgent Care. Even though they saw a swollen tonsil they determined it was allergies which was believable as sage is in bloom. I picked Jeff up from Boomtown where he parks his truck and we were ready to watch football the next day. Sunday morning Kathy was a little worse on swallowing, her glands and left ear were bad but she said she will stay in bed awhile while we watched our first game. She slept most of the time and I checked on her often until around 12:30 I looked in and she was crying! Off to hospital we went and glad we did. Not only was she in Sepsis, a raging infection was going on in her left tonsil and lymph glands. Saint Mary's did a great job and by Tuesday she was able to come home and as I write this today, it is her last day on antibiotics. Click on photo for more pictures!

(October 13th, 2022) The leaves are turning and the mornings are getting colder as Fall is officially here in Verdi, NV. We are enjoying the last semi warm days here in Northern Nevada before we head over to California in November for the holidays. Click on photo for more pictures!

(October 8th, 2022) Scott Wightman hosted a birthday party for his Sister Michele at his property in Wheatland, CA. Scot, Ann and Daisy took their motorhome and let us stay overnight with them. As usual, us old folks crashed way before the party ended! Click on photo for more pictures!

(October 1st, 2022) We are still at the Gold Ranch RV park in Verdi (VUR-dye), Nevada. I've said it before and as we stay here again, this is still our favorite park in the Reno area. Price, location, space between sites, hiking, biking, gaming, etc. all right from our front door. Now that the California fires are out, blue skies and warm weather are making Fall here a great time!
