(August 25th, 2023) What a birthday week Kathy had! Moved temporarily from Verdi to Sparks Marina where we enjoyed The Legends, Western Village and the Nugget for two days before moving to the GSR for two more days of debauchery. On her actual birthday we moved back to Verdi where Ann, Scot and Daisy showed up in their motorhome, Mike, Annie, Jasper and Kona showed up in theirs and later on Jeff showed up in his rig. Most of us went out to Maria's Mexican Food where we were joined by Mike Connell. The next night we had a tri tip BBQ and the weather was great all weekend. (August 19th, 2023) Kathy and I spent Friday night at Aunt Jan's Tahoe home and gave her a ride home just in time to head over to Mom's to visit with a child hood friend I haven't seen in over 60 plus years! She lived in the Managers apartments on top of the Northern Commercial building as we did. Kim and her husband Todd came over from the Bay Area and brought homemade sandwiches so Kathy and I brought ours over and joined them for a nice visit. Mom always stayed in touch with Kim's Mom Laurie over the years and Laurie even came over to our Loomis house but we always missed any opportunity to see Kim. Click on photo for more pictures.

(August 5th, 2023) Moved to Gold Dust West in Carson City for a week. Walked the city a couple of times and enjoyed some of the places we have'nt been in a few years. Also went up to Aunt Jan's Tahoe home and helped her with a few chores. Click on photo for more pictures.
