LOTS OF HIKING!

(June 26th, 2026) Summer for me brings out the best of hiking and even though I was working alot, I still squeezed in some good ones. Kathy joins me for the shorter ones, 5 miles or less and does great! I did screw up and took her on a 10 miler and although she made it most of the way, it was too much to soon and we will ease into that distance. Click on photo for more pictures!

JAMIE AND JENNA IN ALASKA!

new

(June 26th, 2026) Jamie and Jenna have done the only state that Kathy has not! They did it with style too, going up the inside passage on a ship and making it to the interior of Alaska by Mount Denali. Looks like they had great weather too! Click on photo for more pictures!

JERISON LAMB 1990 - 2026

(June 16th, 2026) Sadly, after a long battle with brain cancer, Jerison passed away today. He was surrounded by family and friends. Jerison was only 35. Life was going so well for him, family, home and work. He will be sadly missed. Click on photo for a few more pictures of his younger days.

GREENHOUSE GROWING!

new

(June 13th, 2026) I built a greenhouse for Mom last year and since she has not moved in as of yet, Kathy has been trying out her skills in growing us some vegetables! She has been learning how through trial and error, the help from Google and Picture This apps, but ultimately from Tracy Hutson who has been doing this for a few years. We have been getting Cherry tomatoes from this, just waiting on the squash! Click on photo for more pictures!

MG WALK!

(June 13th, 2026) Myasthenia Gravis or MG is a rare neuromuscular, autoimmune disorder which our Grandson Mason is afflicted with. Causes extreme fatigue and profound muscle weakness. Impulses from the brain travel down nerves but are blocked by antibodies before impulses reach muscle. The body is essentially attacking itself and stopping muscle function. Can impact a person’s ability to see, swallow, smile, walk, breathe, or engage in normal, everyday activity. Although we donated to the search for the cure, Kathy and I did not make it to the walk, but alot of friends and family did! Click on photo for more pictures!

(June 6th, 2026) The rewards of hard work have paid off for alot of people this time of year and of course that is graduating! Some are moving onto the next educational venue and others are done and moving into the "real world" of working, paying bills and creating a life for themselves. Congratulations to all!
